I’m always intrigued by the challenges faced by Messianic believers in Israel. These dear brothers and sisters who have accepted Messiah as Savior and Lord face difficulties those of us in America never consider. For example, what would it be like to be a follower of Yeshua (Jesus) while serving in the IDF (Israel’s military)? Soldiers there face similar struggles that American soldiers face, but on top of those difficulties, they face rejection from fellow soldiers, as well as internal struggles regarding their unpopular belief in Jesus.
So, what’s being done about it? Take a few minutes to read this report from One for Israel:
Friends, will you take a moment right now to pray for the Messianic believers serving in the IDF? Also, ask God’s blessings upon the ministry of One for Israel as they help those soldiers become strong, committed believers, unwavering in their faith.
PS: Though we may or may not meet Messianic soldiers, we will definitely meet some of the IDF’s finest when we go to Israel in October! One of our most popular stops is at a military outpost in northern Israel. We still have 4 seats available on that tour and you are welcome to join us!
