Only months ago it seemed the Sea of Galilee might dry up to levels that would be potentially irreversible in terms of severe damage to the ecosystem. The drought had been serious for far too long, so it was time to pray! Israelis have prayed for years, and this past December, I published this post, urging Christians everywhere to join together in prayer: Is the Sea of Galilee Drying Up?
Then the rain came, and what an incredible spring it was! I believe the Lord heard the prayers of His people…both Israeli and Christian! Take a look at this report by Jerusalem Dateline:
So, now it’s time to pray again! How often do we ask and receive…but never give thanks? Let’s jump on the thanksgiving train and give thanks to God for His mercy and miracle at the Sea of Galilee! Who’s with me?
PS: We will sail on the Sea of Galilee in November, and seats filled quickly on the EXPERIENCE ISRAEL TOUR. However, we recently secured a very limited number of additional seats…does one of them have your name on it? Come see the Sea with us!
