Prior to October 7, Israeli politics were in a tailspin. PM Benjamin Netanyahu was facing trumped up charges (not so different than Donald Trump), party opposition leaders Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid were working feverishly to force Netanyahu out of office, and street protests were increasing in number and intensity.
Once war broke out, Netanyahu formed an emergency war cabinet, including arch political rivals, Benny Gantz and Yoav Gallant, both decorated war veterans. As expected, Gantz proved to be a puppet for the Biden administration, with Secretary of State Antony Blinken pulling the strings.
It is no secret that Joe Biden’s handlers want desperately to dethrone Benjamin Netanyahu. The US has allowed false Palestinian narratives (hyper-inflated casualty numbers, ridiculous “starvation” narratives in Gaza, talk of genocide) to run rampant and increase in intensity. Likewise, the US has pressured Netanyahu to accept ceasefire deals which, if agreed, would leave Hamas victorious, still in power in Gaza, and able to repeat the October 7 attacks again and again and again (as they repeatedly promise to do).
Ironically, Gantz claims that Netanyahu is politicizing the war by prolonging it in order to remain in power. Meanwhile, no one has yearned to become Prime Minister more than Benny Gantz! And no one wants to continue to occupy the White House more than Joe Biden! So, who is politicizing what?
But now, the Blinken-Gantz clown show is putting on a full court press against Israel. Gantz, at the behest of the US administration, and in hopes of destabilizing the Netanyahu government, resigned from his position in the war cabinet on Sunday. (Good riddance!) Furthermore, the US, who has pushed a peace plan supposedly put forth by Israel (doubtedly so) and denied by Hamas, is now escalating that peace plan to the United Nations for resolution to force the sides to agree to it!
Here is the proposal put forth to the UN (who immediately backed it):

But consider a few points:
- PP2 – You mean the overwhelming number of resolutions against Israel? The Human Rights Council alone has issued 45 resolutions (45.9%) condemning Israel, while the rest of the world (including Human Rights violators such as Iran, Pakistan, China, Afghanistan and others) accounts for the remaining 54.1%. (Israel’s population is .11% of the world population.) Add 228 Security Council resolutions condemning Israel, and you see what they are up against! All while Palestinians use civilians as human shields in Gaza!
- PP3 – Qatar harbors top Hamas leaders and Egypt has allowed at least 85 tunnels to ferry weapons and ammunition from the Sinai Peninsula (part of Egypt) into Gaza for decades! Since when are Qatar and Egypt the ideal peacemakers?
- OP1 – Did Israel really accept that peace deal? Only if they want to lose the war!
- OP2(a and b) – Anyone with half a brain knows that hostages are life insurance for Hamas leaders in Gaza! There is no way they will release them. They will lie to “accept” the deal, but will never follow through. If they did, they would be dead men in no time.
- OP3 – Really! So, Hamas can sit around for 6 weeks, then make a half-hearted attempt at negotiations and ceasefire has to endure through that!?! (Stalling negotiations has been their MO since the beginning.)
- OP4 – So, the US and the UN (United Nothing) will be in control of implementation of the deal? Both are doing their best to thwart Israel’s efforts! What can possibly go wrong!?!
- OP5 – Israel will not be able to establish a buffer zone on the Gazan side of the border in order to better detect when (not “if”) Hamas decides to strike again.
- OP6 – Neither Israel nor the Palestinians want a two-state solution! Over many years, the Palestinians have been offered a state MULTIPLE times by Israel. All they had to do was acknowledge a Jewish state as well. They said “no” every time. Why? They want ONE state…with no Jews! (What do you think “from the river to the sea” means!) It is only the US and other naive governments who fail to understand that there will never be peace between two states on Israeli territory.
It is the most anti-Israel deal that anyone could propose. We are seeing sheer wickedness play out right before our eyes, and it is pushed by a desperate administration driven by demonic ideology.
Friends, some will say this is purely a political issue that doesn’t belong in Christian discussion. God’s Word says differently: those who stand with Israel will be blessed (Genesis 12:3). Those who do not, will face judgement never before seen (Joel 3:2). This is far more than a political issue. Its spiritual roots go back to Isaac and Ishmael.
Tomorrow, I will address the issue of politics and Christianity. See you right here again tomorrow for that discussion.
