It is conservatively estimated there are about 30,000 believers in Israel. Many are Palestinian, and the number of Jewish people coming to know the Messiah is growing. Jews and Palestinians obviously come from distinctively different cultural positions, with ingrained narratives regarding the other. What happens when they become believers?
The pathways are often different, but One for Israel is providing opportunities for Messianic Jewish pastors and Palestinian pastors to study together and minister together, and it is a beautiful thing! (Check out Bridges of Peace Between Jewish and Arab Pastors)
Our prayer focus today is unity. Let’s pray…
By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
~John 13:35
They will know us by our love! Today, pray not only for unity between Jewish and Arab believers, but also that each local congregation would be unified in the Gospel and committed to personal discipleship.
Pray for love, appreciation, and respect between all those in the Body of Messiah in Israel.
