Unless you believe in the Messiah, you don’t know God. Jesus, the Messiah, said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14:6) Jesus is our Savior.

But why do we need a Savior? Because without exception, we all sin (Romans 3:23), and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Everyone of us deserves eternal death in hell.

But God, in His great mercy, provided salvation when He sent His Son, Jesus, to be our Savior. It is by His death, burial and resurrection that we are saved. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) The Bible says, if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)

Without salvation, our destination is eternal hell. It is a real place, just as heaven is, but it was meant only for Satan and his demons. Don’t let them take you there!

So, confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved!
