Resurrection Day at the Garden Tomb

Happy Resurrection Day!

Can you imagine being at the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem on Resurrection Day? On the original Resurrection Day, two women came to the tomb to find it empty. Today, thousands come every day to find an empty tomb!

Some of the most impacting moments in Israel are those spent at the Garden Tomb. This morning, pilgrims from around the world gathered for a special sunrise service at the Garden Tomb. I want to share it with you in hopes you will get a small taste of what it is like to be at what could be the very place from which Jesus arose from the grave!

The service is a little over an hour long, with a wonderful message from an Englishman passionate about Jesus’ resurrection. If you don’t have time to view the entire service, perhaps you will tune in for a few moments of worship. (Begin, perhaps, at the 21:22 mark.)

Good news, my friends! We will be at that very location in November! Yes, we will see the empty tomb for ourselves and will enjoy communion together, commemorating Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection that gave us forgiveness of sin and new life! I long to share the experience with you! Please go with us.

There will be an informational meeting next Sunday (April 28, 2019) at 2:00 pm at Cholla Library (2nd floor) near Metro Center. We’ll tell you everything you need to know to join us in Israel in November. See you there!
