It is already past sundown in Israel today, thus Passover has officially begun. Jews in the Holy Land and around the world will commemorate liberation from Egyptian slavery to freedom in the Promised Land.

As Passover gets underway, let’s hear a brief explanation from the Bible Lands Museum:
