Arab League Condemns Iran, Officially Deems Hezbollah a Terrorist Organization

Significant events continue to unfold in the Middle East.  On Sunday, Saudi Arabia convened an emergency session of the Arab League, in which the League condemned Iran and its destabilization efforts in the Middle East, and officially identified Hezbollah and the Houthis in Yemen as terrorist organizations.  (Both are Iranian proxies.)

It is a complicated mess, and you may be interested in Amir Tsarfati’s commentary on the situation.  However, a major “take away” for me is the fact that Saudi Arabia is settling into its position of opposition to the Russian-Iranian coalition…just as Ezekiel 38 predicts!  When the War of Gog and Magog commences, Saudi Arabia will be the primary neighboring nation that sits back, perhaps condemning the action, but doing nothing about it.

Interestingly, the US has spearheaded efforts in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States to cooperate with Israel.  Because Iran is a bitter enemy of Saudi Arabia, the two governments (Saudi Arabia and Israel) appear to be cooperating on things such as military intelligence.  Make no mistake…Saudi Arabia will likely never be a staunch supporter of Israel.  But their partnership against a common enemy brings the two together.  While the US has, perhaps, played a significant part during the Trump administration, here in the US, we will likely have our own distractions when the Gog and Magog coalition makes its move on Israel.

In Luke 12:54-56, Jesus admonished His followers to know and understand the times and seasons in which they lived.  We would be wise to do the same!  We are living in the last days, which DOES NOT mean we sit around awaiting the rapture!  We have work to do!

Are you a servant the Master will find faithful when He returns?  Are you a watchman on the wall?  Are you a believer, committed to fulfilling the call God has given you?  Now is the time!  Until He comes, let’s be about our Father’s business!
