Israel is part of a very complicated Middle East. Throughout time, there have always been discussions about peace, yet none exists. Why? Because one side wants the other side dead!

The talk of a “two-state solution” is nonsense! Neither Jews nor Palestinians want two states. The Palestinians and their supporters chant, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” In other words, they want ALL of Israel, and they want it minus the Jews.

Meanwhile, since statehood, Israel has often given up land for the promise of peace. It never happens. They gave up Gaza and look what it got them! So, Israelis are growing less favorable to the idea that they will give up a piece of their land for the utopian “two-state solution,” only to be attacked once more from land that was given away!

The bottom line is that Palestinian statehood, however it is presented, will never result in peace.

Susan Michael, US Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) recently wrote this piece, outlining 4 reasons there will never be true and lasting peace with the Palestinians:

As we travel to Israel in a few days, we will actually spend some time in Judea and Samaria (aka West Bank). What we learn is that Palestinians and Arabs who live and work in Israel are much more grateful than those living in Gaza under the oppression of Hamas. We have the blessed privilege of meeting Messianic, Arab and Palestinian pastors who love the Lord deeply, yet their cultures still clash at times. As noted, Israel is a very complicated place, but the hand of the Lord is moving there! Pray for us and with us as we engage the people! May the light and love of Jesus be evident to all.
