Israel’s Awakening, Replacement Theology, and Antisemitism

There is so much happening in our world today…and so much of it focuses on Israel. Just as God’s Word tells us, all eyes will turn toward Israel in the last days. I think we’re seeing it!

On the positive side, Jewish people everywhere are celebrating the 8-day Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) right now. It is the most joyous of the 7 Biblical feasts God ordained for the Jewish people, and Israelis know how to party! (In a good way!) There is food, fun, and fellowship as friends and families gather in sukkot (temporary “tabernacles”), and children frolic with one another. It is a precious sight to see!

Yet, behind the laughter and joy remains the backdrop of the October 7. Yesterday’s earth-shaking news of a peace deal between Israel and Hamas was absolutely glorious. The return of the hostages is a huge answer to prayer (assuming Hamas does not renege). Frankly, I don’t trust Hamas and if the peace deal actually makes it to the finish line, I have little confidence that it will last. True, a huge battle has been won and things may calm for a season. Rejoice in that but understand this is only the first phase. Accomplishing all peace objectives could take months (or even years). Beyond that, the eternal war is not over. Satan absolutely hates Israel, and the vitriol will only increase!

The increase of vitriol, I believe, is already leaking considerably. It is presenting itself as blatant antisemitism from the liberal left and alarming opposition arising against Israel on the conservative right. Polling data suggests that more Americans lean away from Israel than toward her these days, and it gets worse with younger generations. That causes deep concern.

No one articulates the truth of those issues better than Amir Tsarfati and, following a conference in Missouri last weekend, he sat down for a 54-minute podcast segment with the host pastor. I realize an hour of time is difficult to come by, but this podcast is chalk full of critical truth, and I urge you to play it while you drive or during a lunch hour. (It is divided in short segments to make it easy.) Find time to hear this discussion regarding things such as:

  • The war and Israel’s miraculous survival
  • Growing spiritual hunger among the Jewish people
  • Replacement Theology and God’s everlasting covenants
  • Accusations against Israel
  • Rising Antisemitism and the Christian’s responsibility to stand with Israel
  • How to pray for Israel

Not only will you be blessed but also educated on important Biblical principles. Check it out:

PS: The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize is to be announced tomorrow, and President Trump is in the running. I fully expected Hamas to do everything possible to avoid giving him any sort of “win” by agreeing to a deal! Perhaps they just proved me wrong! If so, I’ll take it!!!
