Day 26: 31 Days of Prayer for Israel – Holocaust Survivors

One of the most popular and impactful stops on our Israel tours is our time spent visiting Holocaust survivors, hearing their stories and loving on them with the love of Jesus. They need our prayers, and we’re joining with One for Israel in today’s prayer focus to lift them before the throne of grace. Let’s do this together.

But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

~1 John 3:17

Many Holocaust survivors in Israel live in poverty and have no family to help them. The dilemma about whether to spend the little money they have on food or medicine is all too common for a group who should be taken care of.

Pray that, as One for Israel takes them regular care and food packages, they would have a glimpse of God’s love for them, and God would meet their needs practically and spiritually.
