Day 20: 31 Days of Prayer for Israel – Gospel Unity

Thank you for joining this month’s prayer effort for the evangelistic ministry of One for Israel, and for the salvation of Jews, Arabs and Palestinians in Israel. The Holy Spirit it definitely moving and the Gospel is reaching millions of Israelis.

Tensions between Jews and Arabs often run high, and have certainly peaked the past few weeks. It is important to know that most Jews, Arabs and Palestinians desire to live in peace with one another. However, because Hamas rules the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Authority runs the show in Palestinian areas of the West Bank, and both have ingrained hatred of Israel, terror remains a huge issue in the region.

On the tip of the spear in striving for peace and salvation of all is One for Israel. OFI is committed to share the love and life of Jesus Christ with all Israelis, including Jews, Arabs, Palestinians and others.

Let’s gather in the throne room to pray…

Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous…

~1 Peter 3:8

There have been many positive steps toward unity between Jewish and Arab believers in Israel, especially in the wake of the MA program for Jewish and Arab senior pastors at One for Israel’s Bible college (Israel College of the Bible) that brings key leaders together. (See Arabs and Jews Unite in Jesus Christ) However, many in the Palestinian territories remain disconnected from their Israeli brothers and sisters. Constant tension and propaganda pushing an “us-vs-them” narrative makes it hard for Arab Israelis and Palestinian Christians who are stuck in the middle of this conflict.

Today, pray for the Arabic Church in Israel and for God to work in hearts to bring about true unity and reconciliation between us all.
