Welcome to day 12 of our prayer blitz for Israel. As we discovered in this morning’s post, a spiritual war has raged in Israel for centuries, and it continues to rage today. As we go to prayer today, we’re in the midst of discovering some of the challenges Messianic believers face in Israel. Our focus today is on Messianic IDF soldiers, so let’s get to it….

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.

Four out of ten Messianic IDF soldiers walk away from their faith after serving in the army. In their service they face pressures from the conflict, and challenges of faith from both secular and religious soldiers. To combat this trend, One for Israel encourages soldiers to hold tight to their faith through enriching video and live teachings. Frontline soldiers are sent care packages with Bibles and other Messianic resources.

Today, pray that they would win the spiritual battles and fall more in love with God during their service rather than falling away from Him.
