Day 6: 31 Days of Prayer for Israel – Underground Believers

The Bible exhorts us to pray for Israel (Psalm 122, Isaiah 62). It is not only our Christian duty, but it also brings blessings to us as we fellowship with the God of Israel! It is my prayer that, as you join me on this journey, you will be drawn closer to the heart of God as you pray for His people. Stick with it, and let’s create a habit that will bless you through a lifetime!

We’re on day 6…

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

~Deuteronomy 31:6

It’s not easy for those from the Orthodox community to take their first steps as a Messianic believer. Many face total rejection from their family and friends, and in some cases even physical threats because of their faith in Jesus. They may not be educated or equipped to provide for themselves outside of the community, so many choose to hide their faith. These underground believers contact One for Israel regularly, and today they need your prayers ot stand firm and for the courage to take those critical next steps into discipleship.

Today, pray for these new believers, for safety and boldness to take the next steps in their faith!
