Earlier this week, Israel celebrated her 74th birthday! Yes, it was Independence Day in Israel and, after the very somber days of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) and Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day), the Jewish people typically cut loose on Independence Day with picnics, parties and dancing! (Israelis love to dance!)
But what happens when the world’s only Messianic Jewish evangelistic ministry (One for Israel) draws Jewish and Arab youth together to celebrate Independence Day? It becomes a time of fun and fellowship…and you can bet the Gospel was shared with those young people! Check out this sneak peak from the young-adult event One for Israel put together for non-believers, new-believers and believers on Independence Day in the mountains of Jerusalem!
This month we’re praying together for the hearts and minds of Israelis to be open to the Gospel. Check back this afternoon (and every afternoon in May) for specifically guided prayer for those hearts and minds!
