At least three times, the apostle Paul urges us to walk in a manner worthy of our calling. (Ephesians 4:1-3, Colossians 1:9-12, 1 Thessalonians 2:10-12) Each of those passages build upon one another.
In Ephesians 4:1-3, according to Paul’s exhortation, what characteristics belong to those who are walking in a manner worthy of his calling?
According to Colossians 1:9-12, with what will we be filled if we are to walk in a worthy manner? What will be the results of being filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding?
Finally, take a look at 1 Thessalonians 2:10-12. Because Paul demonstrated how to devoutly, rightly and blamelessly behave toward others, he exhorts, encourages and implores us to do the same! To what does God call us when we do so?
Be encouraged by Amir Tsarfati’s words about this.
Are you called into His Kingdom and glory? In these last days, there is nothing more important than walking in the ways of God. None of us do it perfectly, but let’s intentionally make it our ambition!
