Yes, without a doubt!
We’ve seen the evidence of rising antisemitism from the likes of the former Obama administration, as well as current Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other super-liberal leftists who have blatantly displayed not simply distaste for Israel, but pure hatred. We know antisemitism has implanted itself in the Democratic party, but is it enough to cause concern?
According to Senator Ted Cruz, who recently spoke to The Jerusalem Post, yes. In fact, here is Cruz’s warning regarding the potential election of Joe Biden and the Democratic party in this year’s election:
“That dynamic [Democrats choosing their party over Israel’s best interests] is dangerous. If you look at the Democratic Party, there are some vocal antisemitic voices on the far left that are in the ascension, that if Biden wins will have a serious and vocal role.”~The Jerusalem Post, 9/24/2020

It’s time for believers in Jesus Christ to take a stand. Each American has a God-given duty not only to vote, but to elect government officials who uphold Christian principles. Exodus 18:21 clearly teaches the importance of selecting capable, honest men who fear God. We are to appoint them as leaders. How do we appoint leaders in our country? By voting!
If you are an American Christian who chooses “not to get involved in politics,” I suggest you are involved by default. By choosing not to vote, you are robbing millions of unborn babies a voice. You are abandoning God’s chosen land (Israel), leaving them to the whims of antisemites who have nothing but division and destruction of the land on their mind.
If you are in that category, I plead with you to consider your responsibility as a Christian. You may not like the personality or even the character of President Trump and the Republican party. But we are not electing a pastor or a missionary. I, too, wish President Trump was more “Godly,” but he’s not. I don’t agree with HOW he does things, but as believers, it is impossible to deny that he has been the most pro-religious freedom, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Israel president in the history of our nation.
If you are not yet registered to vote, it is crucial that you do. Deadlines vary by state (October 5 in Arizona), but it is very easy to do. In fact, I believe every state has a mechanism that allows you to register online, and it takes only a moment or two. Go to Vote.gov (regardless of which state in which you reside) and register now.
