Innovation Nation: IDF Drone Saves an Endangered Griffon Vulture and Baby

Griffon vultures, native to Israel, are on the endangered species list, so are well protected in their habitat in northern Israel. On a trip to Israel several years ago, we visited Gamla, where reproduction projects of several species of vultures are carried out.

With 10′ wingspans, large vultures are simply breathtaking in flight. As one hovered overhead, I was reminded of Revelation 19:17-21 where the Bible describes the doom of the Antichrist and False Prophet, along with those who follow them in tribulation times. Their flesh is totally consumed by large birds of prey. It causes me to wonder if those huge birds are being brought back from extinction to fulfill the prophetic role described in Scripture.
