Hi friends! Just this week Israel celebrated her 72nd year of independence. Yom Ha’Atzmaut is a day of celebration and typically Israelis flood the beaches and national parks to enjoy bar-b-ques, picnics and IAF flyovers. This year was different, as the country is still under tight restrictions due to the COVID virus, yet I doubt it stopped them from celebrating at home! They take their independence very seriously, after having been exiled for about 2,000 years! In a sense, Israel is 72 years young and thousands of years old!
Interestingly, Israel celebrates Yom HaZikaron (similar to Memorial Day in America) the day preceding Yom Ha’Atzmaut. Jews readily acknowledge they could not celebrate their freedom and re-birth as a nation (1948) had it not been for those who valiantly fought for it in Israel’s many wars.
Amir Tsarfati teaches about Israel’s miraculous war history and now is a great time for you to know more about the miracles that God did to re-birth the nation, and how He continues to miraculously sustain them! Israel is truly God’s Story, and I hope you are blessed by these teachings today and tomorrow. Enjoy part 1 today, and meet me back here for part 2 tomorrow morning!
