Word from Jerusalem – June 2018

Welcome back, friends!  If you have followed long, you know that I share each issue of ICEJ’s Word from Jerusalem, a monthly publication highlighting events happening in Israel, and the ministry of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem.

Many of you have told me how blessed you are to get a glimpse into the work the Lord is doing in Israel.  But this issue will blow your socks off!  Why?  Because it is filled with exciting highlights of the incredible gala celebration of the opening of the US Embassy, and the conference that followed.

I attended those events in Washington DC in mid-May and can attest to the quality and depth of them.  I know you will be blessed by coverage of that conference, as well as other happenings surrounding the ICEJ and their ministry in Jerusalem.  Please take some time to check out:

  • Greetings from VP Mike Pence, on behalf of the White House.
  • US Celebration of Israel’s 70th – the ACLI Gala, featuring very prominent speakers.
  • Israel: Seventy and Strong – a recap of the conference.
  • A heartfelt message from Dr Saleem Shalash – get the perspective from an Arab Israeli Christian, living a life of freedom in Israel (and extremely thankful for it!)
  • US Embassy Opening: May 14, 2018 – a look back at that exciting day.
  • …many other articles from happenings around the world.

You will be blessed!  Enjoy!

PS: I’m teaching week 2 of the study, Why Israel Matters, today.  Please pray for a work of the Holy Spirit as I teach.  Also, I’ll continue posting info from that study, so stay tuned!  (Of course, you’re welcome to join us live if you live in the Phoenix area! Info and Directions)
