Mike Pence’s Visit to Yad Vashem

For those of you who have visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, you know what a powerfully moving place it is.  It stands as a monument to Israel’s “Never Again” resolve.

It is the policy of the Israeli government to include a visit to Yad Vashem on every state visit by foreign dignitaries…and it is understandable why.  High profile visits typically include a ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, where the eternal flame is lit.  Vice President and Mrs Pence took part in that ceremony and Yad Vashem has released official photos of the visit.  You will find those pictures and a report of VP Pence’s museum visit here.

PS: International Holocaust Remembrance Day is this Saturday. Stay tuned as we focus on that over the next couple days.
