Shabbat shalom, friends!
As reported a few days ago, the US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, USS George HW Bush, anchored off the coast of Haifa, Israel for a few days over the 4th of July holiday.
While anchored there, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, took the opportunity to visit the largest warship in the world, where they briefly toured the vessel before the PM took the podium to wish the seamen a Happy 4th of July.
Later that day, the Netanyahus accompanied US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and his wife to a 4th of July celebration at the US Embassy in Tel Aviv. It is certainly refreshing to see the friendship of two great nations, committed to the same ideals, deepen their relationship. Praise God for that!
