US Aircraft Carrier to Spend Four Days Anchored near Haifa

According to the Jewish News Service, the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, USS George HW Bush, will spend 4 days docked at Haifa Bay in Israel, where sailors will have shore leave.  The vessel is scheduled to arrive July 1, according to reports.

The carrier is in the Eastern Mediterranean as part of a military campaign against ISIS.  Please pray for those men and women (and other troops and allies) called upon to deal with ISIS.  Pray, also, that while they spend time in Israel, they will encounter the God of Israel!

In addition to the battle against ISIS, rumblings continue throughout the Middle East.  Here are some additional headlines:

Be sure to keep your eyes on Scripture as you read the news of our day.  It appears the stage is being set for such end time events as the War of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38-39) and the Tribulation.  We don’t know the day or the hour, but we are living in the season and must be ready!
