Amir is a tour guide in Israel (among other things), and I have had the privilege of touring with him. I can attest to his incredible knowledge and insight; and his experience as an officer in the IDF coupled with his supreme understanding of Scripture makes him a valuable source of news and encouragement regarding Israel and end times.

Dear friends,

I want to write you some personal words in light of the situation in Israel.

We are facing once again the attempt of the enemy to bring an end to our very existence as a free people in our homeland, Jews who live in Israel.

Once again those who hate the God of Israel have lifted up their heads and said to themselves “come, let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel will be remembered no more” (Psalm 83:4)

This round started just a few weeks ago when three Israeli Jewish, innocent teenagers were kidnapped and executed shortly after by vicious murderers who were held as heroes by their own religious leadership.  The were not killed because they did anything wrong.  They were killed just because they were Jews.  Following that crime, the enemy continued a campaign on five different front lines: Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Sinai (Egypt) and the West Bank.

We are here, stronger than ever, and ready to stand and fight back.  We are resilient.  We are totally united and ready to look at the evil’s eyes and say: our God reigns.  He brought us over here, and He will protect us as well.

The words of the psalmist are so vivid now-a-days as Israel was ready to agree to an Egyptian brokered ceasefire that was rejected by Hamas.

“…My soul has dwelt too long with one who hates peace; I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war” (Psalm 120:6-7)

We are proud of our country that has one of the most moral armies in the world.  Our pilots, unlike the rocket launchers of Hamas, abort their mission if children are spotted walking around the target.  For Hamas, our children are the target.  Our army has the Iron Dome missiles protecting our civilians.  The enemy’s army is using civilians to protect his missiles.  No other country will be supplying water and electricity to the region from where hundreds of rockets are being fired towards it on a weekly basis.  No other country will offer to take into it’s hospitals the injured among it’s enemy.  No other country makes phone calls and sends warnings to homes from where missiles were shot, telling civilians to evacuate the area so they will not be harmed.

We believe in the sanctity of life.  God told Moses: “…I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live…” (Deuteronomy 30:19)

We believe in a God that isn’t asking us to sacrifice our sons to prove our love to him.  We believe in a God that sacrificed His son to prove His love to us.

“…The Lord bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem.  All the days of your life; Yes, may you see your children’s children.  Peace be upon Israel!…” (Psalm 128:5-6)
