Hi friends! I just wrapped up an Israel-focused Bible study in which we examined four crucial covenants God made with His people (Israel). Those included the Abrahamic Covenant, the Mosaic Covenant, the New Covenant and the Davidic Covenant. Each is exciting in its own way. But when you realize that each covenant plays its part to bring about salvation, you realize that Jews and Gentiles come to know Jesus as Messiah the exact same way!

Israelis have become very sensitive to spiritual things during the course of the attack and subsequent hostage situation. It has opened doors for Messianic evangelical ministries in Israel to proclaim truth to Jews who would otherwise never lend an ear to hear about Yeshua (Jesus). One such ministry is One for Israel, who seeks to share the love of Jesus with all Israelis. Check out a portion of this recent update from them:

We have released a redesigned version of our Hebrew Bible app. The core of the app has been rebuilt from the ground up with an improved layout, structure, and user experience. 

The new version of the app improves performance and efficiency, enabling more features for Israelis reading the Hebrew Bible—many for the very first time. Across the Hebrew Bible app, features have been made easier and more intuitive for Israelis seeking to engage with the Word of God: 

-  Browsing through books of the Bible is smoother
-  Comparing different translations side-by-side is now simpler
-  Search results are clearer, and key verses are available to be shown by topic or life situation
-  Listening to the Bible in Hebrew has been enhanced

So far this year, we’ve seen over 41,132 installs of the One For Israel Hebrew Bible app across Israel!  Thousands of Israelis can now engage with Scripture in Hebrew in a deeper, more personal way. 

It is important to know that those who love the Lord have taken every advantage of this difficult season to bless Israelis with the Word of God…and the love of Jesus! One for Israel does it in so many ways, but getting the Bible into the hands of Israelis is super critical.

Please pray for the team at One for Israel. I know them personally and I know them well. They are Israeli-born Jews who desire to bring as many into the Kingdom as possible!

God’s Word tells us that blessing Israel will bring blessings in return. (Genesis 12:3) I encourage you to do so in one of these very specific ways:

• Pray for the ministry! They are on the frontlines of what God is doing in Israel. Here is a prayer guide.
• Pray for Israel – Psalm 122, Isaiah 62, Ezekiel 33 are undeniable exhortations for us to stand and pray for Israel.
• Financially support One for Israel – The best way to bless Israel is with Jesus, and OFI does that! Only a very few ministries in Israel actually share the truth of God’s Word with the Jewish people. One for Israel leads that charge! Your support goes toward blessing Israel in the most important way…with Jesus!
• Consider going to Israel – One for Israel not only coordinates the tours I lead, but I am now leading some of their tours as well! In fact, I’m leading a group in November, so pray for us!

Recently we have put lots of focus on the importance of standing with Israel. It is now more important than ever. Be careful who you follow…and be careful where you get your news about Israel.
