Is This the Final Push into Gaza?

On October 7, 2023, human monsters, known as Hamas terrorists, invaded Israel, brutally torturing and killing over 1,200 innocent Israelis and kidnapping another 250+. Since then, Israel has vowed to defeat Hamas, return the hostages to their families, and prevent Hamas from having the capabilities to attack Israel ever again.

Almost 2 years later, after having thoroughly defeated Iran and its proxies in Lebanon (Hezbollah) and Yemen (Houthis), the war in Gaza continues. True, Israel is able to absolutely smash Hamas in no time, so what is the hold up? Hostages.

For months, Hamas has kept Israel at bay by hiding behind hostages, using them as human shields. Israel made several pushes into the Gaza Strip but never the final big push that will end this merciless war. Now, though, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, in a speech to the soldiers, said we “will not stop the war until we defeat this enemy.”

According to one media outlet, President Trump has told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to ‘go into Gaza with full force’ and ‘finish’ the war. Will Israel finally have the chutzpah to do what should have been done long ago?

The prospect of conquering Gaza City, Gaza’s capital and most prominent city, seems more likely than ever before, as Israel has called up at least 40,000 reservists and ground maneuvers into Gaza City are underway. Here is Netanyahu’s statement on X:

Just yesterday I touched base with friends in Israel, all of whom have had sons and daughters deployed into Gaza. Whether or not their precious children are currently on active duty, every one of them had the same message: “It is time to defeat Hamas once and for all.”

Friends and prayer warriors, will you join me in praying for Israel’s successful victory over Hamas? Also, please pray for the families who have loved ones on the front lines. The end of Hamas will not come without danger, and almost assuredly loss of life. May the God of Israel stand up on Israel’s behalf to guide them to victory without casualties. May those who have already given their life for this cause have not died in vain. May the God of Israel be glorified in the midst of Israel!
