There are “peace talks” taking place to end the war in Gaza. I believe all of us want an end to war and hostilities, yet it is equally important to understand how this war erupted. There was peace between the Palestinians in Gaza and Israel on October 6, 2023. That peace was shattered when Hamas brutally attacked innocent Israeli citizens. The atrocities were indescribable, but then over 250 hostages were taken into Gaza to endure even long-lasting torture.

Released hostages are beginning to tell their stories, and it is imperative that we hear them and comprehend the depth of depravity demonstrated by demonic forces. Joel Rosenberg recently interviewed Keith Siegel who details his 484 days in Hamas captivity. Here is that interview:

Friends, it is God’s command that we pray for Israel. It is our duty to pray for those still in captivity, and to uplift those like Keith Siegel who continue to recover from the physical, mental and emotional trauma imputed from monstrous terrorist. Will you pray?
