Did Israel Do Enough in Iran?

Over the weekend, Israel carried out a long-awaited retaliatory strike on Iranian assets. Prior to the attack, at least three target banks were assumed: Iran’s military assets, Iran’s oil and gas assets, and Iran’s nuclear facilities.

While many hoped all three would be hit, Israel chose to target only military assets. But what a job they did on those! According to reports, the first wave of attacks took out air defense systems in Syria and Iraq, along the flight path to Iran. Those targets included the vaunted S-300 and S-400 systems provided by Russia.

In a second wave, those same systems were attacked inside Iran’s borders, guarding oil, gas, and nuclear facilities. The destruction of those systems has left Iran very vulnerable to future attacks.

Finally, a wave of fighter jets targeted Iran’s ballistic missile factories. All considered, Iran lost its ability to defend itself and its ability to effectively produce ballistic missiles that would definitely be needed for any retaliation against Israel.

No, Iran is not totally crippled. They still have a supply of ballistic missiles, as well as an unbelievable number of drones capable of serious attacks. But the damage is significant.

Those in the know are debating whether or not Israel did enough in their attacks on Iran. Regardless, Israel sent a strong message to the Iranians, and without a doubt there is pressure from the US not to go all out on Iran. Wisely, Israel set Iran on its back foot at least until the American elections are decided. Depending upon results, the handcuffs that have hindered Israel for 4 years may be released, giving Israel the backing they need to finally cut the head off the octopus.

Below is a 15-minute report from Joel Rosenberg.

Friends, pray for Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s war cabinet, and other leaders as they determine how best to fight the war against Iran and its proxies. Pray also for America’s elections. God’s Word commands us to stand with Israel. We need a President, VP, Senators and Representatives who clearly understand the mandate given by God. There are clear cut choices in this year’s elections. Fellow Americans, please commit to vote, and vote your Biblical values.
