Void of all leadership, Hamas terrorists are desperate to hold on to what little power they have. Recently, the IDF began evacuation of Jabaliya, a large refugee camp in northern Gaza. Embedded in that camp meant for civilians are dozens of Hamas terrorists. Thus, the Israeli military is working to separate citizens from Hamas operatives.

Thousands of citizens are obediently moving to safer areas. Meanwhile, hundreds of terrorists are being arrested and interrogated. As indicated when Yahya Sinwar was eliminated, it is my belief that Israel should tighten the screws on what is left of Hamas in Gaza. (Much easier said than done!) As the IDF pushes the air out of the Hamas balloon, chances of getting hostages back should increase.

Meanwhile, the citizens of Gaza are beginning to turn on Hamas. Many are telling IDF soldiers, “We don’t want Hamas…they are killing us!” Is it any wonder? After being used for years as human shields, some are beginning to reveal their fear and disdain for Hamas leadership.

Hamas is now threatening those who resist them, and have already murdered unknown numbers of civilians who don’t see eye-to-eye with Hamas.

Conditions for Gazans are abhorrent. They live under the heavy hand of terrorists who steal their food, use them as human shields, and kill them if they resist the tyranny of Hamas. Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are, in general, conditioned by Hamas ideology which threatens obliteration of the State of Israel. It is what those people know, but the tide seems to be turning somewhat.

Please pray for a move of the Holy Spirit in Gaza. There are small pockets of Palestinian Christians in Gaza who live in fear and oppression every single day. Pray for supernatural strength and boldness to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. Pray for eyes of the innocent to be open to the truth of God’s Word. For those whose hearts are hardened and they choose evil and death, pray their plans are thwarted and they are captured or eliminated by the IDF. Pray for a supernatural end to the chaos in Gaza, and that Israel is able to welcome their hostages home.
