Friends, I continue to be appalled, as I’m sure you are, as I follow talks between Israel and the Biden administration. Netanyahu, in his strongest response yet to America’s abandonment, came right out a few days ago to state unequivocally that the US is withholding much needed arms from Israel, though the administration and the press deny doing so.

In reality, unless you are well connected to the US Defense and State Departments, it is not possible to know exactly if or what the Americans are withholding. Only time will tell. But what does seem very clear (from military reports out of Israel) is that Israel is unable to finish the job in Rafah expeditiously because they are rationing munitions used against Hamas.

Truth is, Hezbollah is Hamas on steroids. They are much more well-equipped, including hundreds of thousands of rockets, most which are significantly more sophisticated and accurate than the missiles Hamas has launched into Israel over the past several years. Hezbollah also possesses myriads of drones which are difficult to detect and eliminate. Israel will face challenges never before met in the history of Israel if war breaks out in the north and they do not have the arms they need to defend themselves.

So, what is the projection regarding war with Hezbollah? Unfortunately, Hezbollah is feeling very empowered right now as they watch the Americans and Europeans leave Israel standing alone. Though the US is sending the Eisenhower carrier group to the shores of Haifa, some reports indicate it is to deter Israel, not Hezbollah.

Woe to America.

Amir Tsarfati posted the update below a couple days ago, in which he lays out the scenario for the impending war. It appears almost certain, and it seems Israel will need to preempt in order to gain any advantage. Based on current relations with allies, Israel has few who will stand with them. Cyprus, who is also threatened by Hezbollah, is the only nation I am aware of committed to stand with Israel.
