Hi friends! Passover has come and gone in Israel, and Christians celebrated Resurrection Weekend less than a month ago. But before they disappear in the rearview mirror, take time to be encouraged as we look back.
First, is there a connection between the Jewish Passover and the Christian celebration of the Resurrection (known commonly as Easter)? Technically speaking, the two stand apart from one another, but Biblically speaking, the two are connected. Passover was marked by blood on the doorpost to signal to the angel of death to “pass over” that home and let the children live. For Christians, the blood of the Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, is key to our salvation!
Secondly, both celebrations are testimonies to all the people of the earth that God is a God of redemption. Jews, Arabs, Americans, Europeans, Africans, Asians….it doesn’t matter! Christ died for all. But what happens when Jews and Arabs are brought together by the love of Jesus? Reconciliation happens, but it is far too scarce in our world today.
On our EXPERIENCE ISRAEL Tours, we destroy the myth that Jews and Arabs cannot live in peace! We go places and experience things that give us eyewitness evidence that peace IS possible between them. One of the stops we make is at Home of Jesus the King Church in Nazareth. The most God-fearing and God-loving Arabs you will ever meet serve there by reflecting the love of Jesus! Imagine Arabs providing 550 Passover meals to Jewish families! Incredible!
Please meet my good friend, Pastor Saleem Shalash of Home of Jesus the King Church. For years he has spread the Good News of Yeshua (Jesus) to Jews and Arabs alike, and he intentionally pursues reconciliation between them. This will be the most exciting 10 minutes you will spend today, so be blessed!
BTW – Our next available tour is February 2024 and you are invited to come meet Pastor Saleem and experience a whole lot of other blessings! Registration is soon to open, so check out the details today and let me know if you want to be included on the “early bird” list to receive info and pricing before it goes public!
