Day 14: 31 Days of Prayer for Israel – The Next Generation

Today is May 14, Israel’s 74th Independence Day on the Gregorian calendar. (Jews celebrate feasts and holidays according to the Hebrew calendar, which put their Independence Day about 10 days ago.) Israel has over 3,000 years of history and 74 years of rebirth. Generations are important in Israeli history, and raising up the next generation of Messianic believers is critical. Today’s prayer time will focus on that.

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

~2 Timothy 3:16-17

One for Israel is passionate about raising up the next generation. That’s why they provide biblical training and theological education for young adults through national events and conferences. This important initiative builds and equips young adults in their faith, providing important fellowship and encouragement.

Today, please pray for this initiative, that God would use it to empower the next generation of believers to grow in faith and stand strong amidst the opposition they face for following Jesus.
