When it comes to lives lost on 911, we honor them all. We read and hear the stories of common folks like Todd Beamer who acted courageously, all the while knowing his life would very soon be snuffed out. Every life lost that day has a story.

Today, in honor of them all, we’ll consider the first to give his life on that day. An American Jew named Daniel Lewin was likely that person.
