National Day of Prayer 2021

Seventy years ago, from the Capitol steps in Washington DC, Billy Graham prayed, then called upon the US Congress to establish a National Day of Prayer. Harry Truman signed legislation and it became so!

Since that time, the National Day of Prayer Task Force has mobilized Americans year-after-year to join hundreds of thousands across all 50 states in praising God and interceding for our nation.

Never has there been a more important time, and never has a theme been more apropos: LORD, pour out your LOVE, LIFE, and LIBERTY. This year’s theme is taken from 2 Corinthians 3:17 NKJV, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” Today, people will gather at city halls, around school flagpoles, in police stations and churches to pray. There is also a national broadcast that begins tonight at 5pm AZ time (8pm Eastern). (Click here to find out who is broadcasting.)

Why not gather your family and friends and pray together? Too far apart? COVID forced proficiency in Zoom. Why not meet together virtually? If nothing else, tune into the broadcast. Our nation and our leaders need LOVE, LIFE and LIBERTY! Your prayers matter!

Join the wave that is sweeping America today…pray!
