Through Jewish Eyes: Jesus and the Passover

Today at sundown, Jews around the world will commemorate Passover.

If you know Jesus and you understand Jewish feasts, you know that Jesus is the fulfillment of each Jewish feast! While in captivity in Egypt, the blood of the lamb on the doorpost caused the death angel to “pass over” that home. The blood of Jesus gives us eternal life because He is the Passover Lamb!

The next day he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

~John 1:29

Indeed, Jesus is easily seen in the Passover commemoration. Watch here, as Amir Tsarfati provides a Messianic perspective, and leads you through an actual Passover Seder. Enjoy!

PS: Taping was done at Yad HaShmona, a small community of Messianic believers in Israel. Those on our October tour will learn about the origins of this community and the family who developed it! Find tour information here.
