The Feast of Tabernacles, the most joyous feast of all, has commenced! Jews around the world have erected temporary booths, called sukkot, and can be found sharing meals, laughter and fellowship with family and friends in them for this eight-day feast.
As Bible-believing Christians, we look to the feasts as God’s calendar of events, leading to ultimate redemption of sinful man! Jesus our Passover Lamb, was pierced and striped as Unleavened Bread and is the First Fruits…fulfilling the first three feasts. The giving of the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost (the fourth feast). Then, as represented by the fall feasts, the rapture (Feast of Trumpets) will occur, followed by salvation of Israel (Yom Kippur) and finally, this glorious feast: the Feast of Tabernacles, when God tabernacles together with us in the Millennial Kingdom!
What a glorious time it will be when we enter the Millennial Kingdom. There is much more to know about Sukkot and here is additional insight: Tabernacling with God at the Feast of Sukkot
The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) last for 8 joyous days! As Christians, why not rejoice that Jesus Himself will ultimately fulfill every single feast!
