One of the most moving experiences I’ve had in Israel is meeting Holocaust survivors and hearing their stories. There are many ways in which survivors of the horrific mass genocide at the hands of Nazi Germany are honored. In fact, I came across a moving picture of such an occasion:

To celebrate her 104th birthday, Holocaust survivor Shoshana Ovitz invited all her descendants to join her at the Western Wall to pray together. It appears most of them showed up! Imagine if all of us were able to gather our descendants together to join us en masse for prayer! Wow…what an impact we would have.
God bless Shoshana and her faithfulness to God. My prayer is that the eyes of Shoshana and her descendants would be unveiled to see Yeshua HaMashiach…Jesus the Messiah. Please join me in prayer for that!
Also, in November I have the blessed privilege to lead a tour to Israel. One of our stops will be a home for Holocaust survivors. Please pray the love of Jesus flows through us, and the Messiah reveals Himself in incredible ways to them each and every day as they approach the end of life.
