Grab a seat and make yourself comfortable! We’re gathering at the virtual study table to continue our look at Understanding the Future. If you missed yesterday’s first portion of this week’s study, take a few moments to review it.

We have a glorious future because the Lord of Glory is returning to take us home! At the Rapture, He will take us to the place He has prepared for us and we will enjoy the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:7-9), while hell breaks loose on earth (tribulation).

But, let’s remember that, before Jesus may return to rule as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, at least 3 conditions must be met:

  • Israel must be back in her land. May 14, 1948, Israel was re-born as a nation, and Jewish people have returned in droves, and continue to do so. This condition is continually being met.
  • Israel’s historical mission must not fail. What is the mission? If you’ve studied with us, you know their mission is to be the vehicle of world redemption. They brought us the Messiah! That has occurred!
  • Israel’s destiny must be national, not just spiritual. God promised Abraham LAND and DESCENDANTS. A land of their own is essential. If Israel is not a nation, they cannot live safely and securely in their own land as prophesied in many places! Today, Israel is a strong and prosperous nation, and that condition is fulfilled!

Not only is Israel back in the land, but God’s promise is to never reject them! As we close today’s study, be reminded of this promise of God:
