Israeli Airstrikes Take Out Iranian Missile Factory

Around 2:30 am Saturday (local time), Israeli fighter jets unleashed airstrikes on an Iranian military installation near Masyaf, Syria. Syrian state media announced:

“The enemy missiles were dealt with and some of them were shot down before reaching their target.”

However, satellite images (above) provide clear evidence that the Israeli Air Force hit their targets, totally destroying the military installation. This is believed to be at least the second time Israel has destroyed strategic chemical weapons plants in this area, including the Scientific Studies and Research Center near Masyaf, known as CERS.

Following President Trump’s recent recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, we can expect Iran to continue attempts to increase their presence on Israel’s border…and we can expect Israel to defend herself! As God continues to set the stage for the destruction of Damascus (Isaiah 17:1) and the invasion from the north in which the Lord will come to Israel’s defense (Ezekiel 38-39), we must continue to pray for wisdom of Israel’s leaders and military.

In a broader perspective, we are to be faithful in understanding the time and season in which we live. This is only a snapshot, but I invite you to join us for Understanding the Times, a 4-week study beginning April 28, when we will dig deeper. Click the link to find out more.

Blessings, my friends!
