A few days ago I shared an incredible story about two American Christian women sent by God on a medical mission deep into Syria. This effort is part of the IDF’s Operation Good Neighbor, an initiative aimed at providing humanitarian aid to as many as possible inside the Syrian chaos. From August 2016 (when the operation began) to July 2017, more than 110 different aid operations took place, with many more since then.
In late-October, CBN released a short video of the medical mission of Dr Sally Parsons and Debbie Denison (a trauma nurse), which I shared. (See Sharing the Love of Christ in Syria) Yesterday, I received news that an expanded version has been released. Again, I was overwhelmed by the undertaking and so blessed to hear more details of this incredible mission. (Including Syrian responses to Christian and Israeli aid, and what it was like to get to know the women behind the burqas.)
I pray you are blessed by the video, and I hope you will share this fantastic story with others. It is an incredible testimony of God’s faithfulness, and of the love of Christ poured out to those we may otherwise see as enemies.
