This Sunday: “The Holocaust and Antisemitism”

Hi everyone!  As we approach International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27, 2016), I want to invite you to a special time of sharing.  The day after Thanksgiving I traveled to Israel to attend a Christian Leadership Seminar at Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum and Research Center.  Christian Friends of Yad Vashem and the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem co-sponsored the event and it was an incredible opportunity to hear from world experts on the Holocaust.

In conjunction with International Holocaust Remembrance Day, I will be sharing about the Holocaust and Antisemitism this Sunday morning at Calvary Community Church’s Northwest Campus.  (9:00am in the Prayer Room)  Click here for directions and more information.  (This is a “bonus lesson” in the midst of Israel in Prophecy: Looking for the Blessed Hope.)

Dear friends, as Christians we have a need to understand what has gone on with the Jews in the past, and how similar patterns are repeating themselves today.  Jesus, our Savior, is Jewish, making our Christian heritage Jewish!  Not to get into all details here, but we must understand the importance of the Holocaust and Antisemitism if we are to stand firm as Christians.

Please join us on Sunday as we commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day a few days early!  Along with a bit of teaching, we’ll pray for the nation of Israel.  I look forward to seeing you there!
