Meanwhile, It is Calm in Israel!

Friends, I am tremendously burdened by what is happening in European cities, particularly in France and Italy over the past few days.  Radical Islamists are rioting and destroying iconic landmarks and no one does anything.

Meanwhile, I’m often asked, “Isn’t it dangerous to go to Israel?” Seriously…it is calm and peaceful here in Israel. While Israel is safe, one would be a fool to go to Paris or Milan now days!

The commentary below was posted on Amir Tsafati’s Telegram page on October 17.  America and the west must heed the signs, or risk this violence coming to our own shores. (Makes me love Israel all the more!)

Read below the words of Amjad Taha, a political analyst from the UAE:

What is happening in France—the unrest and attacks targeting society and the economy—is the result of a government that tries to surf every wave instead of correcting the ship's course. On October 7, the day when Hamas killed children and women in Israel, in those same streets where the unrest is unfolding today, the same students and the same individuals who are now waving Hamas and Hezbollah flags celebrated the October 7 massacre. At the time, the government did not stop them.

On the contrary, it needed their votes, so it trampled on the wounds of the Jewish community and even called on the United Nations to give Hamas, the ISIS of Gaza, a state to govern. When these students targeted young Jewish girls and boys on university campuses, as well as Jewish homes and restaurants in Paris, their actions were effectively endorsed by the indifference toward the suffering of the Jewish community. Macron then went on to tell the world that there was no Hamas presence in the West Bank.

Even Hamas would contest that claim: it is present there and poses a threat. But those who failed to see the danger in Paris will not recognize it in areas of the West Bank. An authority whose security is under attack, whose police officers are assaulted in the streets, and which, to this day, still refuses to ban the Muslim Brotherhood or Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps should understand that it has contributed to creating these troubles. These students are suffering from an identity crisis fueled by the ignorance of elites, authorities, and media who have treated antisemitism as an opinion rather than a crime.

Can I get an amen!
