Hi friends, I recently finished reading Amir Tsarfati and Tolik Piflaks’ newest book, The Elijah Mandate, and recommend it for those who battle with a constantly compromising culture that is hostile to the Biblical principles held dear to honest, Spirit-filled believers. Elijah stood firm in his faith when confronted by the evil of his day, and The Elijah Mandate challenges the reader to do the same.
Since his first book in 2018 (The Last Hour), Amir has honed his literary craft and surrounded himself with good writers and editors. As a result, his books have become widely popular around the world (particularly in America). So much so that several have landed on best seller lists such as Publishers Weekly, ECPA Christian Best Sellers, Amazon, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and even the ultra-liberal New York Times. Counting accompanying study guides to some of his books, Amir has authored or co-authored at least 20 books and sold over 2 million copies. All are based on Biblical themes, and his works of fiction always include the Gospel message.
The Elijah Mandate is his latest offering, and it has already garnered NYTimes Best Seller status. Drawing from the life of the prophet Elijah, Amir and Tolik take the reader on a journey to understand the man, the mission, and the application to current events. In the end, believers are encouraged to live as Elijah did, in obedience to God and without fear of what man might do to him.
The book keys on important spiritual disciplines such as refusing to compromise the truth of God’s Word, exhibiting courage and strength in the face of opposition, stopping in the midst of chaos to hear the still small voice of God, and developing spiritual disciplines to guide you through life. Using Biblical examples seen in Elijah’s life and applied to the events of his day, the reader is exhorted to apply those same principles in the midst of today’s chaotic and ungodly world.
In a sense, this book serves as vital encouragement to pastors, church leaders, and teachers. But also to the fearful believer struggling to live out his Christian faith in the midst of opposition. The book touches on the ills of our day and provides practical insight that, if employed in our own lives, would make a difference in our daily lives, individually and corporately as the body of Christ.
Amir’s writings include fiction and nonfiction, as well as deep Bible studies on key books of the Bible. In terms of nonfiction, this is a profound work applicable to all believers. If you long to live boldly and without fear, perhaps this is the book that should sit at the top of the stack.
The book is available via the Behold Israel bookstore, ChristianBooks.com, or anywhere books are sold. For a sneak peek at Amir’s next work (not yet published), check out the bookstore.
Enjoy the read!
