We interrupt this program for breaking news…there is evil running rampant in our world!
Yes, we are focused on the Feast of Tabernacles, to be fulfilled by Jesus in His millennial rule and reign. That is indeed end times! However, until that day, evil lurks in our world and is becoming more and more rampant.
There is something strangely true about the phenomenon known as toxic feminity in America and around the world. It is centered in deception, which might cause us to consider what the apostle Paul warned against in the last days.
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
~2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
Notice the warnings:
- Coming of the lawless one (antichrist), according to the working of Satan.
- God sends strong delusion (a false perception of reality) on those who do not receive the truth and be saved.
- That they should believe the lie (there are many lies believed today…we’ll touch on only one).
- Did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
We could use any number of examples, but one that is running wild today is that of women believing their feelings and emotions are a safe haven. As small children, my siblings and I goaded my father playfully until he chased us around the house. Sometimes we ran endlessly, but at other times we headed straight to Mom, grabbing her around the leg, yelling “Safe, safe….I’m on base!” We couldn’t be “captured” if we were on base!
Today, feelings, emotions, and hormones seem to be the “safe place” radical feminists run to when they don’t want to be held accountable for things. Take this 9/20/2026 X post from Benny Johnson for example:
This is only one example, yet is the epitome of 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12. I would stop short of labeling them “Zero IQ,” but the spirit of antichrist is definitely at work in this world, at least since the time of the apostle John. (1 John 4:1-3) He has sowed strong delusion, such as it being okay to kill your children if your feelings, emotions, or hormones just aren’t right. It is currently all the rage, and many believe the lie, particularly those of the “my body my choice” persuasion. They do not believe the truth and, stunningly, they take pleasure in horrendous evil and gruesome actions and beliefs.
Yes, friends, the Feast of Tabernacles will bring with it great joy, but we live in a fallen world today, and unfortunately, even those born during the millennial kingdom will have to choose righteousness. Many will not. Just like today, delusion and deception will be present, yet Satan will not even be around to tempt them! So where will the delusion and deception come from?
God’s Word tells us specifically. Our hearts devise wicked plans and our feet run to evil (Proverbs 6:18), and our hearts are deceitful above all things and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9)
So, are women without hope? Absolutely not, and neither are men. But it is the heart surrendered to Jesus that will not run headlong into wickedness and evil! Just as the Jewish people have commemorated Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), so we should ask God to search our hearts (Psalm 139:23), blot out our transgressions, wash us from iniquity, and cleanse us from sin (Psalm 51:1-2)
Then, we can enjoy the glorious reign of Christ our Savior as He rules in our hearts while here on earth, and as He is seated on His throne when He fulfills the Feast of Tabernacles!
