Hi friends! As you might know, I have the blessed privilege to be part of the staff at ONE FOR ISRAEL, and I’m so amazed by the work of the Lord in and through OFI. At 12:17pm (AZ time) yesterday, a huge eruption of celebration occurred, so let me explain!

The heart of ONE FOR ISRAEL is to bless Israel with Jesus. In fact, you will often find this tagline on webpages and materials that go out from our offices:

Israel is one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world and, on average, Israelis own more electronic devices than almost anyone else in the world. What a great way to reach Israelis who are unlikely to overtly seek out the Messiah for fear of becoming outcasts among their family and friends. Thus, in 2012, ONE FOR ISRAEL launched a Hebrew-speaking YouTube channel filled with Bible teaching, worship, testimonies and documentaries geared specifically to reach Hebrew speakers. The channel grew slowly but steadily over the years until the 2023 terrorist attack on Israel. Suddenly, Israelis were looking for answers, and many became curious about Jesus.

Yesterday, the iGod channel recorded its 1 millionth subscriber, proving the search for Jesus is serious and much more widespread than most people know!

1 million Hebrew-speaking subscribers is significant because:

• All content is in Hebrew, the native language of Israel and other Jews worldwide.
• There are only about 9-10 million native Hebrew speakers in the world (and another 5-6 million who speak it as a second language). About 7 million of them reside in Israel.
• Some Hebrew second-language speakers are Arab, so the channel is reaching into that community as well.
• The vast majority of subscribers live in Israel, a country whose population is just under 10 million.

Thus, through iGod, over a million Hebrew speakers are now CHOOSING to receive content regularly through iGod.co.il! Israel is being blessed with Jesus!

If that is not enough, the channel (as of this writing) is also approaching 98 million views and is expected to reach 100 million soon! (4,000 additional views were recorded just in the length of time it took to write this!) Thus, even those who are not subscribed to the channel are viewing Gospel content in astounding numbers! In a nation of less than 10 million, that is HUGE!

Moreover, those numbers account ONLY for our iGod channel on YouTube! Our English-speaking I Met Messiah channel, filled with testimonies of Jews and Arabs who have come to Jesus, has over 3 million views, and our main ONE FOR ISRAEL YouTube channel, packed with teachings and resources, has almost 1.7 million subscribers!

Despite all that, the online ministry is only one small aspect of the mighty work going on at ONE FOR ISRAEL! While many of us work in supportive roles in the US office, our team on the ground in Israel is made up of native Israelis reaching out to their own countrymen in so many different ways. Our US team erupted when we saw the 1 millionth subscriber!

The world may look bleak, but the work of the Holy Spirit is alive and well in Israel! Veiled eyes and hardened hearts are becoming less clouded and softer. Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, is making Himself known, and I’m so thankful He has invited us to step into His story and join Him in that work.

This, by the way, is another sign of the end times! Our heavenly Father is putting all the pieces in place, just as the Bible describes, and He longs for people everywhere to know Him! Will you pray for the people of Israel? The world may abandon them, but God never will. I hope you and I will stand on God’s side with the Jewish people!
