I so appreciate Bill Federer’s ability to articulate lots of information clearly in a short time! Below, he provides Muhammad’s history in 3 minutes. But why does it matter…and what does it have to do with Jesus’ admonition to “occupy till I come?” Hang in there…you’ll see!
Islam is overtaking Europe and has America squarely in its crosshairs. Chants of “Death to America! Death to Israel!” ring out across the Middle East. Why? Because Islam is certainly not a religion of peace (as some would claim), but a religion bent on overtaking the world and establishing Sharia law. It is a godless, power-hungry religion serving the interests of Satan himself.
Muhammad was the Islamic prophet sent by Allah to set this crazy religion in motion back in the 7th century AD. A brief history of Muhammad will provide a glimpse into the bedrock upon which Islam was founded. Take a listen…
Many don’t see the danger of what is happening around the world today. Christians are being slaughtered in droves by Islamists, Europe has been overrun and its major cities ravished by Sharia law, a demon-possessed regime in Iran plots to blow up Israel and America, and the US is allowing cities and states to be overrun and governed by Islamists. How do we miss the signs?
Christian friends, we are headed down the homestretch! Not simply because of Islamization, though it seems to clearly represent a sign of the times. How long will God the Father put up with chaos perpetrated by a religion so distinctly different from God’s design? When will He say, “Enough,” and send His Son to redeem believers?
I hope its soon, and given all the ominous signs of the end times, it is hard to see a path forward other than a soon approaching Tribulation. Thankfully, those of us who have put our faith in Jesus will be taken out of this world prior to that time. (That is known as the Rapture.) However, we must not sit back and simply wait for His glorious return!
In Luke 19:11-27, Jesus told a parable about a nobleman who left his riches to servants and went away, stating, “Do business until I come.” (I like the KJV: “Occupy until I come.”) The intent was that his servants would use the master’s wealth in such a way as to grow it, yet one servant stuck his parcel in the ground and was happy to just wait until the master returned.
Friends, I believe you see the picture. The master represents Jesus who “went away” by descending to heaven following His death, burial and resurrection. Yet He left His riches (salvation, grace, mercy, love, etc) and told us, His servants, to manage it well. Are we investing what He left us into others, or have we buried the treasure, just hoping we can preserve it until He returns?
As the world spins in chaos, and as we see the day of His return drawing near, we must do business (occupy) until He comes! Go out, friends, and invest the Master’s treasure!
