Israel is used to fighting multi-front wars. Even now, they are fighting in Iran and Lebanon, while keeping close watch on what is going on in Gaza, Yemen, Syria, Iraq and other places.

However, there is a much different war being waged that is, in some ways, more difficult to fight. It is a war begun many decades ago and still rages today. It is the propaganda war. There are many who fire media shots at Israel, hoping the world will buy into the anti-Israel narratives and turn against Israel. It is a war that cannot be extinguished as long as there are evil actors willing to spew lies about Israel. And there are plenty of those! We simply must not fall into the trap, and we must continually confront lies with the truth.

Here is today’s menu:

Joe Kent, America’s National Counterterrorism Center Director, was once a strong supporter of denying Iran nuclear access, citing Iran’s threat to America. Yet, he was apparently caught leaking sensitive information to America’s enemies and was then denied security briefings. Why he was not fired is unclear, but just this week he resigned, stating “I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. …Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”

Within 24 hours, he appeared on Tucker Carlson’s podcast to join in the antisemitic narrative with America’s most popular antisemite. It was then picked up and reposted by other antisemitic voices.

Next up, our friend Greta Thunberg, who jumps between the global warming bandwagon and the “Palestinian cause,” is now issuing an emotional plea to “join the cause.” She continues to insist that the starvation/genocide fantasy of the Palestinians (at the hands of the Israelis) is real. Though conditions are not ideal in Gaza (due almost exclusively to their own doing), the Palestinians in Gaza are not starving, nor are citizens being eliminated. Below is her latest emotional plea to “join the cause.” (Interestingly, her small boats that approached Gaza previously had barely enough provisions for her fellow flotilla mates! Whatever they were intending to distribute to Gaza was interrupted by Israeli sailors taking control of the boat and sending them back to Europe!)

Why bring up these two lunatics once again? Because they garner huge followings and continually propagate false narratives associated with Israel. When lies are disseminated, the truth must follow. As followers of Jesus, we are to use our voices for good. As conservatives, our voices will be drowned out by evil intentions if we do not speak up.

Ezekiel 33 admonishes watchmen to be faithful in their warnings when threats are near. Antisemitism is a threat to Jews everywhere and God calls us to stand with them. May your words be truthful and your voice be strong! Together, let’s join Israel in the propaganda war by speaking up on their behalf!
