BREAKING NEWS: According to President Trump’s official Truth Social post below, Israel and Hamas have reached an agreement on the first phase of a peace plan. That will include the release of the remaining 48 Israeli hostages this weekend.

First, praise and glory to God alone for this apparent miracle. Though the American, Israeli and Middle East administrations performed the groundwork admirably, this took the favor and grace of God to accomplish a heavenly mission. All praise to Him and Him alone.
Having said that, terrorist organizations are notorious for “agreeing” to things, only to break their commitment, typically in short order. I am grateful for today’s news but am cautiously optimistic whether or not it will hold. I hope it does, but as some are already saying, “Thus begins the countdown to the next war.” Continue praying, dear friends, that the powers of darkness will remain subdued. Hamas’ charter still calls for the elimination of the state of Israel.
What’s next?
Netanyahu has called the Knesset (Israel’s parliament) into session tomorrow (Thursday) to approve the agreement. The hostages should then be released on Saturday and/or Sunday.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Netanyahu has invited President Trump to address the Knesset, and Trump is expected to accept that invitation. According to sources, President Trump may head to Israel as early as Friday, though I have seen no confirmation of that schedule.
This is a very historic day…and I pray it proves out to be one that endures the enemy’s fiery darts over the next few days and weeks. The enemy hates Israel and will always move in ways to defeat and discourage them. May Israel and her allies (particularly the US) remain wide-eyed and wise. Rejoice that a major battle was won, but remain diligent, as the war is far from over.
