Something subtle is happening over the past two weeks. The news cycle has been filled with tributes to Charlie Kirk, and who will ever forget the incredibly moving memorial service last weekend in which we heard government leaders quote Scripture and talk about salvation through Jesus Christ!
But something sinister has accompanied the time spent honoring Charlie Kirk. His beloved Israel has been attacked in the media and by foreign leaders, and antisemitism has gained a greater foothold. Friends, the enemy of our souls is bowing his back and fighting against the movement pushed forward by Charlie’s organization, Turning Point USA.
I truly believe “the Israel issue” could be the one thing that tears Christians apart. What seems to be a groundswell of revival could soon be diminished because of the Israel dilemma. As I write this, nations are declaring statehood to the Palestinians and Israel’s favorability is dropping like a rock. Earlier this week, I gave some focus to the idea that Christians are falling for the lies of Replacement Theology. After all, some “big names” are pushing it (subtly or not so subtly) and some churches are adhering to it.
Thankfully, there are strong Christian leaders who stand firmly on the Word of God and can articulate exactly what the problem of Replacement Theology is, and how we should approach it as Christians. In a recent interview with Prager U, Pastor Jack Hibbs made the strong argument against Replacement Theology…and I want you to hear it!
The entire interview is good, but I have intentionally set it to begin at the 35:30 mark, as Pastor Jack dives into the Biblical argument against Replacement Theology. (It continues until the 59:35 mark.)
This is “must see” and essential learning for us as believers and followers of Jesus, the Jewish Messiah! Please take 20 minutes this weekend to hear this discussion. You will not be disappointed, but rather reassured that God’s promises to us are fully contingent on His faithfulness to the Jewish people. I’m praying God blesses you as you watch!
