The fall feast season has begun in Israel. If you follow, you know there are 7 major feasts the God of Israel instituted for His people. Each has a very Jewish purpose, and each illustrates the work of the Messiah. Rosh Hashannah is the first of three fall feasts and the 5th in the order prescribed in Leviticus 23. While 4 spring feasts have been fulfilled in Christ, the final 3 feasts are prophetic… awaiting fulfillment.
- Passover (Jesus is the Lamb of God.)
- Feast of Unleavened Bread (Like matzos, Jesus was pierced, bruised and broken, representing His sacrifice for our sin.)
- Feast of First Fruit (Jesus arose as the “first fruit,” so that we might be raised in newness of life in Him.)
- Pentecost (The church was birthed, making possible the spread of the Gospel.)
- Rosh Hashannah/Feast of Trumpets (Jesus will awaken the Jewish people with the sound of a trumpet.)
- Yom Kippur (Jews will mourn and repent and their eyes will be open to the Messiah! All Israel will be saved, as Roman 11 says!)
- Feast of Tabernacles (All believers – Jews and Gentiles – will join in worship of our King of Kings during the Millennial Kingdom.)
When THE Feast of Trumpets is fulfilled, what a glorious time it will be. Watch and listen as Amir Tsarfati shares about Rosh Hashannah/Feast of Trumpets:
Buckle up, believing friends, Jesus will shift His focus back to the Jewish people soon. But before that comes the rapture of the church!
